This is a website launched in the fall of 2007 and dedicated to telling the truth about Remi Gonzalez, 54, of Niagara Falls, NY .
Remi Gonzalez actively promotes himself to the public -- through media appearances, speeches and his Web site -- as a religious counselor and advocate for teen-agers and young adults
This site is run by a group of women who allege that Remi Gonzalez sexually assaulted them during the mid to late 1970s, when they were young girls, aged 7 to 15.
We -- these women -- continue to be traumatized by Remi's repeated self-promotional appearances in the press and on TV, where he holds himself out to be a religious counselor and an advocate and protector of young people.
To the contrary, it is our opinion, based on our personal experiences, that Remi Gonzalez is a savvy criminal, who has escaped accountability for his crimes primarily because of the New York Statute of Limitations, which says it is too late to prosecute Remi Gonzalez for his numerous sexual crimes. We founded this website with the following motives in mind:
1.) To inform others of the allegations against Remi Gonzalez, so they might protect themselves and their children.
2.) To give the public an accurate portrayal of Remi Gonzalez, so they can consider his credibility when he speaks out as a public figure in newspapers, on television and on his website.
3.) To prevent Remi Gonzalez from evading responsibility for his wrongful actions, as he has done for decades now.
4.) To heal ourselves by telling the truth and empowering other victims to speak out against their abusers, so they are not free to destroy the lives of others. It is our belief that sexual predators are enabled by the silence of their victims, and we will no longer remain silent.
